Well, maybe not better. But this one is OURS.

We bought our very own log cabin. It needs a little work, but it's happening and it's fun. Most importantly though, it has running water. It even comes out hot if we want it. AND we have a flushing toilet...we've adopted a mellow yellow policy of course. It's amazing how water conscious you become after a year of not having running water. Photos to come.

So I'm back in the Yukon after a month of academic bootcamp at Cape Breton University and three weeks of walking around the UK and visiting family. See samples below.

I have experienced a little culture shock arriving back in the Yukon after being in the UK. Strange to go from watching Yo La Tengo at Koko in Camden to picking mouse guts out of our timing belt the next morning...
